This section is for undergraduate interns as well a graduate students (master and PhD). It is possible to apply for graduate studies with CoRoM even if you have not yet found a supervisor or project.

 

Note that will also need to apply (and register) for your graduate program, at your chosen university.

Apply for a CoRoM scholarship

 

If

  • Your research project is within CoRoM's scope
  • You are registered or are in the process of registering for a master's or PhD program in one the following universities:
    • Université de Sherbrooke
    • École de technologie supérieure (ÉTS)
    • Université Laval
  • You have found a supervisor for your program

 

How to apply:

 

  1. Fill out the application form.
  2. Send your application form to [email protected], along with the following documents:
    1. Resume
    2. University transcripts (official or non-official)
    3. Motivation and interest letter (1 page)
    4. Description of your research project (in the Project submission form)
  3. In collaboration with your supervisor and industrial partner, make sure to send the Project submission form.
  4. If you obtain a scholarship, you will receive a letter with the details and conditions, if any. A student who does not obtain a scholarship can still participate in the CoRoM program. 
  5. Enrollment in CoRoM implies, amongst others, to complete all the required activities for your program and to follow-up on completed activities with the program coordinator.

Apply for a CoRoM project 

 

If

  • You want to pursue gratudate studies (master's or PhD) in the field of collaborative robotics at one of the following universities, within the frame of an industrial partnership:
    • Université de Sherbrooke
    • École de technologie supérieure (ÉTS)
    • Université Laval
  • You don't have a project nor a supervisor

 

You are encouraged to apply to CoRoM if you are ready for graduate studies in robotics, even if you have yet to find a supervisor and project. CoRoM will try to find a project that corresponds to your interests, as described in your application form. During this process, you might be convened to an interview with professors or industrial partners. It is recommended to submit your application at least one semester before your desired start date (two for international students) in order to have sufficient time to complete the registration process.

 

How to apply: 

 

  1. Fill out the application form.
  2. Send your application form to [email protected], along with the following documents:
    1. Resume
    2. University transcripts (official or non-official)
    3. Motivation and interest letter (1 page)
  3. CoRoM will send your application to professors and industrial partners. You could be convened to one or more interviews.
  4. If your application is retained for a specific project, you will need to write a short description of your research project. Your application will then be evaluated for a scholarship.

Apply for a CoRoM internship scholarship

 

If

  • Your research project is within CoRoM's scope
  • You have been hired as an intern in a research lab at one of the following universities:
    • Université de Sherbrooke
    • École de technologie supérieure (ÉTS)
    • Université Laval
  • Your project is within the frame of an industrial partnership.

 

How to apply:

 

  1. Fill out the application form
  2. Send your application form to [email protected], along with the following documents:
    1. Resume
    2. University transcripts (official or non-official)
    3. Motivation and interest letter (1 page)
    4. Description of your research project (in the Project submission form)
  3. In collaboration with your supervisor and industrial partner, make sure to send the Project submission form.
  4. If you obtain a scholarship, it will be used to pay part of your internship salary.
